Senior AEM Frontend Developer

Key Responsibilities

Front-End Development

  • Lead development of modern web applications using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS.
  • Build reusable UI components and scalable front-end architectures.
  • Develop responsive and mobile-first user interfaces.
  • Translate UX and visual designs into pixel-perfect user experiences.
  • Create reusable design system components and shared libraries.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and consistent user experiences across devices.

User Experience & Accessibility

  • Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to implement customer-centric digital experiences.
  • Champion accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA).
  • Conduct usability reviews and recommend UX improvements.
  • Ensure digital experiences meet accessibility and inclusivity requirements.

Performance & Optimization

  • Improve Core Web Vitals and overall site performance.
  • Optimize page load times, rendering performance, and frontend assets.
  • Monitor and improve Lighthouse and accessibility scores.
  • Implement SEO and performance best practices.

Adobe Experience Manager Integration

  • Work with AEM developers to integrate front-end applications into AEM.
  • Develop AEM-compatible components using front-end technologies.
  • Support Content Fragments and Experience Fragments consumption.
  • Ensure content authoring experiences align with business requirements.
  • Contribute to headless CMS and API-driven delivery models.

Technical Leadership

  • Provide mentorship to junior and mid-level developers.
  • Establish front-end engineering standards and best practices.
  • Lead code reviews and technical design discussions.
  • Promote automated testing and quality engineering practices.

Agile Delivery

  • Participate in feature elaboration, technical estimation, and sprint planning.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Analysts to refine requirements.
  • Support release planning and deployment activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across Digital Practice.
