Senior Data Analyst: Consumer Transition and Data Documentation
Responsibilities and expected activities
• Engage business and technical stakeholders to identify data consumers currently using existing pipelines and document
their requirements.
• Assess each consumer’s current data usage, pipeline dependencies, reporting requirements and readiness to transition to
the Everest dataset.
• Define and document the approach for transitioning consumers from existing pipelines to the Everest dataset, including
sequencing, dependencies, acceptance criteria and cutover requirements.
• Document mappings between existing pipeline outputs and the Everest dataset, together with relevant lineage,
dependencies and changes affecting consumers.
• Use SQL or equivalent querying tools to compare outputs and validate that the Everest dataset meets agreed consumer
requirements.
• Coordinate consumer testing, issue resolution, acceptance and transition tracking, escalating risks and blockers as
required.
• Produce clear documentation and user guidance to support implementation, governance and ongoing use of the Everest
dataset.
Mandatory capability
• Approximately 10 years of relevant data analysis experience.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering and documentation capability.
• Strong SQL or equivalent querying skills.
• Experience supporting data consumer transition, dataset adoption or data platform transformation.
• Understanding of data dependencies, lineage, metadata and data governance frameworks.
Desirable capability
• Institutional counterparty data, AML or KYC experience.
• Data cataloguing tools such as Collibra or Alation.
• Data modelling experience.
• FenX or Fenergo experience.
• Financial services or banking experience.
