Senior IAM Developer – SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) Developer to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-grade Identity Governance solutions. This role will focus on identity lifecycle management, access governance, and integrations across complex IT environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead design and development of IAM solutions using SailPoint IdentityIQ.

  • Implement Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) processes and identity lifecycle workflows.

  • Configure and customize access certifications, policies, and role-based access control (RBAC).

  • Develop and maintain connectors and integrations with enterprise systems (AD, SAP, databases, cloud applications).

  • Build workflows, rules, and custom logic using Beanshell/Java.

  • Implement Identity Governance features including access reviews, segregation of duties (SoD), and provisioning.

  • Integrate SSO and IAM ecosystem tools (e.g., AD, Azure AD / Entra ID, LDAP).

  • Optimize system performance, scalability, and security controls.

  • Troubleshoot complex IAM issues and provide L3 support.

  • Mentor junior developers and guide IAM development best practices.

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ (7.x / 8.x).

  • Expertise in Java, Beanshell scripting, and IIQ rule development.

  • Experience in workflow customization, form development, and debugging.

  • Strong understanding of Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) concepts.

  • Experience with connectors (Web Services, JDBC, LDAP, SAP, etc.).

  • Knowledge of RBAC, SoD, access certifications, and provisioning workflows.

  • Hands-on experience with application onboarding in IIQ.

  • Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and integration patterns.

  • Strong SQL/database knowledge.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD integrations.

  • Exposure to cloud IAM (AWS IAM, Azure, GCP).

  • Knowledge of DevOps / CI-CD pipelines for IAM deployments.

  • Experience in SailPoint IdentityNow (ISC) is a plus.

  • Understanding of Zero Trust and security frameworks.

Experience

  • 7–12 years in IAM / Cybersecurity.

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in SailPoint IdentityIQ development.
