Senior Microsoft Full Stack Engineer (Solution Design & Build)
Role Overview
The Senior Microsoft Full Stack Engineer bridges high-level solution design and hands-on technical execution. Positioned onsite with key business and IT stakeholders, this role is responsible for architecting, building, and delivering end-to-end solutions across the entire Microsoft ecosystem. The candidate will design custom business applications, build complex enterprise integrations, automate workflows, and maintain robust CI/CD deployment pipelines while providing direct client consultation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Solution Architecture & Technical Design (30%)
- Translate complex business requirements gathered directly from client stakeholders into scalable, technical designs across Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Azure.
- Draft technical architecture documents (TADs), interface control documents (ICDs), and deployment blueprints following the Microsoft Well-Architected Framework.
- Evaluate technical feasibility, identify integration risks, and design pattern standards for asynchronous/synchronous enterprise messaging.
2. Full Stack Build & Integration Development (45%)
- Azure Integration Services (AIS): Build resilient, event-driven integration layers using Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions (C#/.NET Core), Azure Service Bus, API Management (APIM), and Event Grid.
- Dynamics 365 & Dataverse: Extend and customize Dynamics 365 (Sales/Customer Service/Field Service) via C# plugins, custom workflow activities, Web Resources (JavaScript/TypeScript), and custom Dataverse solutions.
- Power Platform: Develop complex Power Apps (Canvas & Model-driven), Power Automate flows, and custom connectors to bridge legacy systems with modern cloud solutions.
- Database & Modern Backend: Design and optimize schemas across Dataverse, Azure SQL Database, and Cosmos DB; craft secure REST APIs.
3. DevOps, CI/CD & Delivery (15%)
- Configure, automate, and manage enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Maintain environment strategy, solution ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) for Power Platform and Dynamics 365, and Automated Infrastructure as Code (ARM/Bicep/Terraform).
- Conduct peer code reviews, enforce unit testing standards, and maintain strict quality gates before production deployments.
4. Onsite Client Engagement & Collaboration (10%)
- Serve as the primary onsite technical subject matter expert (SME), leading design workshops and sprint demos for client stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot critical production issues on-location and communicate technical resolutions clearly to non-technical business leads.
- Collaborate closely with client IT teams to ensure alignment with corporate security, identity (Entra ID), and governance policies.
Qualifications & Skill Matrix
Experience
6+ years in full-stack software development within the Microsoft ecosystem, including at least 2+ years in client-facing consultancy or lead builder roles.
Azure Integration
Hands-on proficiency with Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions (C#/.NET), Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, API Management, and Azure Key Vault.
Dynamics 365 & Power Platform
Deep experience in C# plugin development, Dataverse customization, Power Apps (Canvas/Model-driven), Power Automate, and ALM solution management.
DevOps & Engineering
Azure DevOps Pipelines, Git branching strategies, Bicep/ARM templates, REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML handling, and OAuth2/Entra ID authentication.
Soft & Client Skills
Exceptional verbal and written communication; ability to lead client-facing whiteboarding sessions, manage client expectations, and adapt quickly to onsite enterprise environments.
